This week was all about celebrating women all over the world as March 8th was the celebration of the International Women’s Day.

In honour of women all over the world we at mmftrend have made a list of 8 easy things you can do to empower yourself as a woman. You see, empowering yourself starts with your actions, and I can guarantee that if you incorporate these simple techniques in your life, you will feel a huge difference.

1. Change your perspectives.

Don’t think, ‘Why me?’ or complain, take advantage of the situation instead. For example, don’t complain about being stuck in traffic, because there many creative and productive things you can do in traffic. Think about it!

2. Go to dinner in a restaurant all by yourself.

Who said you always need company? Do not be afraid of being alone, use it to your advantage. Just enjoying a good meal with your thoughts is extremely empowering. Enjoy your own company. You need to try it to believe it.

3. Dress well.

Take this as a rule in your life, how you dress has an impact on yourself. If you dress shabby, you will feel like that. Dress in a way you want to empower yourself and feel good about yourself.

4. Finish your to-do list.

There is nothing more fulfilling and empowering than forming a to-do list and finishing it. It will only drive you to form another one and achieve more.

5. Get out of your comfort zone.

One of the best ways to empower yourself is to truly step out of your comfort zone. You will notice that you can actually accomplish so much more than you thought you could.

6. Go out without makeup.

Ditch your mascara and eyeliner and just walk out embracing your natural beauty. It may feel odd at first, but you’ll notice how empowering it is to feel beautiful in your own skin with no added effects.

7. Speak your mind.

Whether you are sitting in a meeting or just talking with your friends, speak up and voice your opinion. If people admire your thoughts then great, but if not, it is still really empowering to say what you think with no shame.

8. Save your money.

Sure there is nothing better than going on a shopping spree, but the more you save, the more financially independent you are, and the more empowered you will feel.
