Rihanna  keeps winning and it appears she doesn’t have a stop or a slow down button. The talented artist went on her Instagram page to celebrate yet another win as announces she is the first female artist to ever cross the 2 billion streams mark on apple music.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Apple Music also released the top 20 most streamed women on their platform with Rihanna coming in first position. Taylor Swift comes in second, while Beyoncè is third.

To celebrate this milestone, Rihanna posted a video on her Instagram page with a Nigerian all-children dance group, Dream Catchers performing a dance routine to DJ Spinall & Wizkid‘s latest song, Nowo.

She captioned the video: “When I found out that I was the first female artist to cross 2 billion worldwide streams on Apple Music! God is too lit,”

Nigerians are however claiming this as a win for them too as the superstar singer, has inadvertently given the song “Nowo” which was featured in the video a major push.

The video which was intended to convey the level of her excitement at adding a new record to her career as a musician is being seen from another angle by Nigerians.

To many, regardless of her intention, her post is an endorsement of the Wizkid-DJ Spinall ‘Nowo’ which recently surged past one million views on YouTube.

The collaboration was released less than two weeks ago.

Nigerians have since stormed the comment section of the Barbados superstar, with most making sure to let her fans know that the song was performed by Wizkid.
